Approach
Perspective:
I believe that any situation is best addressed in a spirit of empathetic, non-judgmental collaboration. My goal is to come alongside individuals, couples and families to create conditions for healing, growth and resilience.
We may not be able to control the external events in our lives or the choices and actions of people around us, but we can choose to respond to people and events in ways that empower us, regardless of the situation we face. We can work together to develop the skills and the perspective to manage any circumstance that presents itself.
I love to come alongside people to listen and facilitate their own unique path toward empowerment and wholeness.
Approach:
I generally work from a psychodynamic, existential framework that is at all times person-centred and solution focused; in order to collaboratively customize a therapeutic plan to best suit your unique situation and concern.
I have taken additional training in a number of well researched, empirically supported therapies that I believe offer you the best tools, techniques and pathways toward understanding yourself, your situation, your relationships and your unique context.
